    I have never been to the store, however I have used their on-site colour consultation service with Linda, the owner of the store. I have had 3 other experiences with Benjamin Moore colour consultants and have had very positive experiences. However, this one was a very bad. Linda does not have an 'eye' for this and she does not know basic design or colour principles. It is obvious during our consultation that she has had no training in design or decorating either. For example, when I asked her how I should paint columns between 2 rooms (since both rooms will be painted 2 different colours), she turned around and asked me the same question back, "Yeah, how would you paint this?" She did not answer the question. My experience with other colour consultations, they knew where in the rolodex of swatches to look and exactly the colour palette. Some consultants even know the exact paint colour they think would look great in the space once coming in to the space. Linda did not know her palettes as well. She spent long time flipping through her rolodex looking and did not have much direction or opinion. A number of her comments told me she wasn't listening, nor did she understand my style and taste. At the end of the consultation, she did not give me any swatches of my colour choices, nor a piece of paper with my colour choices written on it. All I have from the consultation is my own scribbles of the paint colours I chose. The consult cost me $200. The least she could do was give me the swatches of paint colours that I chose. When I asked her for swatches, she told me to go to her store to pick them up. I believe for $200, that this should be part of the service. Why should I have to go the store with her? That's why I'm paying for her to come to my house! At the end, I couldn't hold it any longer, I told her I was very disappointed in the consultation and expected much more from the service, but unfortunately, she took it as an insult. My intentions were good. I wanted to give a business owner feedback on her service so that she can improve or stop doing this altogether. To me she is stealing people's money by saying she is going to provide a service but not be qualified to provide the service. It's like a mechanic who says he can fix your transmission, but doesn't know the engine from the tires.

    This is a top notch store with very knowledgeable staff. They know about current trends and are super helpful no matter what interior design style you have
